Giving Back

The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention, and we see it as a core part of our mission to support that worthy cause. As well as regular donations, we also hold 50/50 fundraisers at our client events and participate in regular initiatives to raise funds and awareness.

From Bryan Alan Masse: A Journey That Changed My Perspective

In October, I had the incredible opportunity to join a group of Royal LePage agents from across Canada on a 100 km trek through the jungles of Cambodia, all to support the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Together, we raised over $1.6 million for women’s shelters across the country.

The experience was eye-opening and truly life-changing. Witnessing life in Cambodia reminded me how fortunate we are here in Canada, and how important it is to remember that 1 in 4 women still experience intimate partner violence. It’s a powerful reminder that home should be a safe place for everyone, regardless of where you are in the world, but especially here in Canada.

To those who donated and supported me on this journey, thank you. Your generosity means the world. I’m proud to continue giving back throughout the year, with a portion of every one of my commission cheques going to Alpha House, our local women’s shelter here in Winnipeg. And the best part? 100% of the funds raised go directly to the shelters that need them most.
